Yes, upgrading to Unplugged Performance big brake kits does not interfere with Tesla’s regenerative braking system. Regenerative braking is controlled electronically by the vehicle’s drivetrain and operates independently of the friction brakes under normal conditions. Our brake systems enhance the vehicle’s friction braking capability when regeneration is insufficient—such as during hard braking, high speeds, or when the battery is fully charged. In those situations, upgraded brakes step in to provide stronger, more consistent deceleration. Many drivers report a smoother transition between regenerative and mechanical braking after installation due to improved pedal modulation. All safety systems, including ABS and stability control, remain fully functional. I had an issue of the camber being no longer able to be adjusted to specs. The friends of UP took care of me. Easy to swap as well. Went to a shop yo align it and car is up to specs again and straight as an arrow. Love it! Thank you UP!
